Dr. Joshua Hren is the author of the story collections This Our Exile and In the Wine Press, as well as Middle-Earth and the Return of the Common Good: J.R.R. Tolkien and Political Philosophy. He has recently published a collection of essays, How to Read (and Write) as a Catholic. He is the Founding Professor of Fiction at the MFA program in Creative Writing at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, and the founder of Wiseblood Books, a Catholic literary imprint. His first novel, Infinite Regress, is forthcoming from Angelico Press.
