Dean Ball served as Scala’s Operations Manager for two years, helping organize public conferences and expanding Scala’s network of supporters. He has also served as Senior Program Manager of the State and Local Governance Initiative at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution. He also has served as Executive Director of the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation. He spent seven years at the Manhattan Institute in a variety of roles, including as Director of the Adam Smith Society and Deputy Director of State and Local Policy. Dean graduated magna cum laude from Hamilton College in 2014 with a B.A. in history.
